Show exhibits to be entered between 6:15 and 6:50 pm on the evening of the show. Exhibits to be picked up at the conclusion of the meeting. Exhibitors are limited to ONE entry in each Design class.
DIVISION 1 – Design
Theme: Garden Splendour
Class D1: Useful a design featuring a garden tool—OJES p.139
Class D2: Autumn a design of your choice
Class D3: Sweet menu a design in a basket including fruit and vegetables—OJES p13
Class D4: Fall Delights a design using GARDEN flowers (no tropical flowers)
Class D5: NOVICE a design of your choice
Class D6: – Wayside a wayside design (up to and incl. age 10)
Class D7: – Wayside a wayside design (ages 11 to 16) OJES p 156
DIVISION 2 – Horticulture
When 2 or 3 items are required in an exhibit they must be the same cultivar/variety/species. Foliage required unless otherwise stated.
Class H1: Cosmos 3 stems
Class H2: Dahlia – up to 3″ 1 bloom
Class H3: Dahlia – over 3″ foliage optional 1 bloom
Class H4: Annual Aster 3 stems
Class H5: Hosta Leaves – 1 stem of each 3 different varieties
Class H6: Rose floating in a bowl 1 bloom
Class H7: Sedum Autumn Joy 1 stem
Class H8: Sedum – any other 1 stem
Class H9: Flowering vine in bloom 1 stem
Class H10: Collection of grasses/sedges 3 or more varieties.
Class H11: Tree fruit same cultivar 3 specimen
Class H12: Tomatoes no foliage 2 specimens
Class H13: Cucumber 1 specimen
